# Account activation and team roles

> Activate a Waffo production account, add Dashboard members, and assign roles by responsibility.

After Waffo provisions a production account, the Super Admin activates it and gives each team member a separate account with an appropriate role.

## Activate the production account

Waffo sends the activation email to the production account's Super Admin address.

**1. Open the activation link**

Open the link within 24 hours of receiving the email.

**2. Complete activation**

Set a password and complete account activation.

**3. Sign in to Dashboard**

Open [Waffo Dashboard](https://dashboard.waffo.com/auth/login) and sign in.

If the link has expired, contact Waffo technical support to request a new activation email.

## Add team members

Only an account with member-management permission can invite other members.

**1. Open member management**

Sign in as the Super Admin and open **Settings → Operator**.

**2. Enter member details**

Add a member, then enter their name and email address.

**3. Assign a role**

Select the role that matches the member's responsibilities. Assign **Dev** to project developers.

**4. Save the member**

Save the member details.

Use a separate email address for each member. Do not share the Super Admin account.

## Role overview

| Role | Intended user | Main access |
| - | - | - |
| **Super Admin** | Account owner | Activates the production account, manages members, and controls all key account settings |
| **Admin** | Administrator | Manages daily operations and members with nearly full access |
| **Read-Only** | Auditor or viewer | Views transactions, Settlement, financial, and contract information without changing business data |
| **General** | Operations or finance | Handles core operations, including transactions, Settlement, Reconciliation, and withdrawals |
| **Dispute Manager** | Dispute specialist | Views related transactions and handles Dispute and Chargeback cases |
| **Dev** | Developer or technical support | Views technical parameters and performs integration configuration and debugging |

> [!NOTE]
>
> Visible menus and actions depend on the current Dashboard configuration. If a member cannot access a required feature, ask the Super Admin to check their role.

## Role assignment recommendations

* Assign **Dev** to project developers instead of using the Super Admin account for daily integration work.
* Assign **General** or **Read-Only** to finance and operations staff according to their responsibilities.
* Assign **Dispute Manager** to members who only handle Dispute cases.
* Assign **Admin** only to members who need to manage users or key account settings.
